Berkhamsted Raiders CFC
Berkhamsted Raiders Community Football Club is the only FA Charter Community Standard Club in the Dacorum District. In 2010/11, they will be running 40 teams, starting with the Under 7's and going all the way through to the adult team and including six girls teams. Around 500 children play football at Raiders! In 2008, Berkhamsted Raiders was awarded Sports Club of the Year in the Dacorum Excellence Awards.
Raiders is going from strength to strength and will see further expansion next season. Its membership numbers will pass 500, and will be running more than 40 teams. They recently won the Herts FA Community Club of the year for the second year running and have been awarded Football Foundation funding for the BerkoAstro 3G floodlit pitch at Ashlyns School.
