Tensiomyography ( TMG )
TMG is currently being used by Barcelona FC, Real Madrid, Athletico Madrid and AC Milan as well as both the Italian and Spanish National teams. Effectively, TMG gives an objective measurement of muscular tension which can be used in the following ways
1. Measure training loads for a professional playing squad / selection of players
2. A screening method to identify 'at risk' players from injury
3. An obective measurement tool of muscular tension during rehabilitation from injury
4. A direct measurement of muscular fatigue / recovery during intense playing periods
