Here at Emma James we have a highly skilled team who can help to gradually build up your strength and abilities after a neurological event such as a stroke in our individual custom built gym, we can also offer home visits for the initial stages, post discharge.

Physiotherapy is based around how to get your midline positioning correct after your neurological event and gradually strengthen and re introduce muscles that have weakened, using many manual techniques including electrotherapy.

Our team is also familiar with chronic neurological conditions such as MS, and use various treatment and exercise techniques such as Pilates to help you get the best of your core stability and general muscle strength.

We also have intimate knowledge in how general aches and pains can affect the human body especially when you have a chronic neurological problem and can help tailor a treatment programme personally focused on your needs.
