Paediatric Physiotherapy

AT EJP we have speciality expertise in working with children and their parents as a whole.

Physiotherapy for musculoskeletal conditions affecting children is a different aspect of physiotherapy practise and intervention.

Children are not just small adults and our therapists not only have specialist knowledge of conditions affecting children specially but also in depth experience of normal and abnormal child development.

The areas of paediatric physiotherapy that EJP specialises in are orthopaedic, musculoskeletal sporting injuries and postural dysfunction. It is important to note that children change and develop, gaining control of their environment in response to the experiences they encounter.

Therefore if they have sustained an injury whether during a sporting activity, as result of an accident or injury or the accumulation of a poor posture, physiotherapy at EJP will be a positive experience.

We work very closely with the child and parents to identify their needs and goals individually. Then as a team we will establish the best road to successful recovery.
