Alexandra Pinna
Senior Physiotherapist BSc, AACP, MCSP
Since qualifying from Birmingham University I have gained extensive experience in both the private and public physiotherapy fields. During this time I have built up a wide variety of electrotherapeutic, myofascial and manual skills, which I now use to maximise outcomes with my Clients.
I have an interest in acupuncture and have completed post-graduate training in this specialist area. I am a member of the AACP and have great success and enjoyment in using this ancient technique in the treatment of pain, muscle spasm and a vast range of musculoskeletal disorders, including headaches.
Using recent, evidence-based training, I am actively involved in delivering regular modified Pilates sessions to our Clients in both one-to-one and class settings.
I am also a trained Vibro-trainer, which enables me to incorporate the use of the revolutionary Vibrogym into my Client’s rehabilitation and exercise programs.
Applying my awareness of ergonomic issues, I am involved in delivering a physiotherapy service to Clients in their corporate, working environment to prevent and treat work-related disorders.
As part of my professional development, I am undertaking a masters degree in Manipulative Therapy in September which shall enable me to develop further my clinical knowledge and skills. This shall have a positive impact on the service and care received by our Client’s and shall improve treatment delivery and outcomes.
