Fran Stockley
BSc, PTDip, NutDip, NLPDip.
Area of specialisation: Nutritional Therapist and Coach
Fran began her career in the health industry as a Psychology graduate at Loughborough University.
Having studied the mind she developed a keen interest in the body and trained to be a personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Working with private and corporate clients Fran realised the need for a combined approach to health and trained in her passion; Nutritional Therapy.
Nutritional therapy combines science (biochemistry and nutrition) with naturopathy (natural, drug-free medicine) in order to return the patient to a state of good health. Nutritional therapy is holistic because it is designed to treat the body as a whole - curing the causes of problems, not just the symptoms as is too often the case in conventional medicine.
Fran now combines nutritional therapy and personal coaching in her consultations and talks. She works from her clinic in Croxley Green, at Emma James Clinic in Boxmoor (Saturdays) and in London. Fran also travels the three counties delivering inspiring and entertaining talks on the principles of natural health and how we can apply them.
‘It is not enough just to know what to eat or how to move our bodies; people want to know why they are doing it and how that can improve the overall quality of their lives.’
Fran specialises in:
Weight Loss, Energy, Digestion, Skin and Pain Management.
Fran is also a speaker for the WI and a member of Toastmasters. She speaks on natural health and wellbeing to groups, clubs and corporate clients. She also runs successful wellbeing events in Boxmoor inviting practitioners to meet the general public in an informal setting.
