BSc, MSc, MCSP, HPC
My interest in physiotherapy started at a young age, when representing my country at basketball I sustained an ankle injury. I was fascinated at the range of treatments used to help me back to full fitness, and this experience inspired me to follow a career in physiotherapy.
Initially I undertook a BSc degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University where I gained a first class honours degree and was awarded the G V Sibley Prize as the outstanding final year undergraduate student. I followed this with an MSc degree in Physiotherapy at Kings College London, where I gained a distinction. During my postgraduate degree I gained experience in many areas including musculoskeletal outpatients, elderly care, paediatrics, orthopaedics, respiratory and neurology. Following my postgraduate degree I decided I wanted to further pursue the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a key focus on sports physiotherapy, and I am fortunate enough to be involved with Tring Rugby Club, providing physiotherapy on both training and match days.
Alongside this I am also involved in delivering a physiotherapy service to clients in their corporate, working environments to prevent and treat work-related disorders.
